Thank you for visiting KBN TV (Khmer Broadcasting Network, Inc.) offical web site.  KBN TV was established in 1997, with the goal of bringing local news, world news and entertainment to the Cambodian/American viewers worldwide!  Although KBN TV aired locally throughout the Long Beach, CA areas for the last ten years we are expanding our programmings worldwide.  Not only will KBN bring Homeland programmings but also programmings from all around the world, uniting the Khmer people!  Through our satellite programmings we hope to preserve the rich heritage of the Cambodian culture and traditions.  The satellite channel will provide 24 hour coverage of news, interviews, variety shows, sports, documentaries, travel programs, educational programs, political shows, lifestyle shows and much much more! Programs from Cambodia such as Bayon TV (http://www.bayontv.com.kh/), TV 3, and TV 9 will be combine and added!     

KBN TV will be the lifeline of our homeland bringing all these programs in our native language, Khmer and English.  The demand for such programs are growing stronger and stronger within the Cambodian population throughout the United States.  According to the US Bureau of 2000, the Census reports that there are approximately 700,000 Cambodians in the United States alone.  Southern California has the largest concentration of the Cambodian-American communities outside of Cambodia.  This is why, KBN TV has chosen the city of Long Beach to be the home base, which has a population of over 400,000 Cambodians!
